How to do properly classic upright row?
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a barbell with an overhand grip.
Keep your back straight and your core engaged throughout the exercise.
Slowly lift the barbell towards your chin by pulling your elbows up and out to the sides.
Keep the barbell close to your body and your elbows higher than your wrists as you lift.
As you lift the weight, focus on squeezing your shoulder blades and exhaling.
Pause briefly at the top of the movement, and then slowly lower the barbell back to the starting position, inhaling as you do so.
Repeat for the desired number of reps.
It's important to keep your wrists straight throughout the movement to avoid injury. Also, make sure to choose a weight that challenges you but allows you to maintain proper form. Finally, remember to warm up before performing any weight-bearing exercise and stretch afterward to help prevent injury.
