FAQ
WHY DO WARMUP?
First, note that warmup has to be well done, properly intense and focused on all parts of the body (mostly the ones you will engage). So that you can prepare yourself for any type of training.
It will prepare your joints and make your muscles hotter and so:
- increase the performance of your workout (due to hot muscles more efficient)
- decrease the injury risk during exercising
A serious injury can take a long time to heal, during you can't exercise anymore. Severe pain and a long pause can discourage further training, especially if you are a beginner. That's why you have to always warm up before a workout.
The warm-ups showed here offers you the general preparation of the body and can be actually performed before each workout. But as the list is not exhaustive, do not hesitate to add your own warmup exercise, specific for a muscle group if you need it.
